Curious Jackson Helps Out

jackson-fall08-03

Even the messiest little boys sometimes decide to help clean up. Jackson is curious about how things like brooms and mops work, so sometimes he experiments with what they do. Jackson’s mommy likes that he is so interested in learning how to clean the floor.

Jackson is also curious about other things his mommy and daddy do around the house. He is very curious about the dishwasher – but he is not allowed to play with that. There are more things he can help with outside! Jackson figured out he can sweep the patio floor just like the inside floor…

Curious Jackson Makes a Mess

Little boys are curious about lots of things. This is a good thing, because being curious helps them learn. But sometimes learning about things can make a real mess.

One day, Jackson learned that if you bite the top of a yogurt container enough times, there will be a hole! And then, you can drink the yogurt just like you drink juice or water. Unfortunately, a lot of the yogurt can end up on your shirt.

On another day, Jackson learned that when you make pudding, you can lick the mixers! This is fun, and delicious, but a lot of the pudding ends up on your face.

Jackson also likes learning to eat by himself. He can use a spoon and a fork sometimes. One of his favorite things to eat is noodles – they are nice and messy!

Curious Jackson and the Airplanes

One day, Jackson wanted to play outside. He liked playing with his climber and splish-splashing his hands in the pool.

Suddenly, Jackson heard a noise. He knew that noise… it was an airplane! “Airplane!” he shouted as he pointed excitedly at the sky. Jackson wondered how the airplane flew in the sky. He watched and watched until it was too small to see any more.

Curious Jackson Goes on a Boat Ride

One day, Jackson went to visit his great-grandparents, great-uncles and aunts and cousins. They went to Uncle Bob’s house. Jackson was so surprised – the ocean was in Uncle Bob’s back yard! And at the dock was a shiny new boat. Jackson had never ridden in a boat before! “Come on Jackson,” Jackson’s mommy said, “We are going to go for a boat ride!”

Get Curious

If Curious George were a small person and not a fictitious monkey, he would be my son, Jackson. From the moment they cut me open and extracted him from the womb- this kid has been wide-eyed and exploratory. This page exists for our friends and loved ones to follow him on his many adventures.

If you need to catch up on Jackson previous to August 2008, visit my myspace: www.myspace.com/latergator.
